Water inlet valve on Whirlpool washing machine.

I suspected the problem was a blocked inlet screen, but as the machine is 26 years old thought I should play prophylactic and just replace the valve. Simply took most 30 minutes and at present works like new. The problem with the old valve was the inlet screen, so at present I accept a spare when this valve plugs-upwardly in another 26 years!

Hose was leaking, it was cracked.

I replaced the hose with no problem. But more importantly, AppliancePartsPros had a video showing how to replace the hose. I would have flipped the washer on information technology's side and replaced information technology. The drain hose would accept been in the fashion thus I would take taken a chance on damaging it. The video showed an extremely easy way to remove the washer outer housing allowing easy access to all parts. The whole job, including the removal and reinstallation of the housing, only took 25 minutes. It saved me some lifting also. Bully set up!

Peachy for a 63 year old grandmother!!!! Found the model number to the old Whirlpool, luckily establish Apparatus Parts Pros online and found the part I needed and ordered it. One time information technology was shipped I received an email not but confirming the shipment but also a short detailed video equally to how to install it!!!! That was cool and helpful. I had planned to have my son come and install it the following weekend. However, two days later I received the hose and installed it myself. The hardest part was pulling the unit of measurement out. The residue every bit simple as the video suggested. Unplug the unit, turned off the h2o. Used pliers to disconnect the hose from the unit. And only pliers to place the new hose on. Plugged in the unit, turned on water, placed the drain end into the drain, pushed information technology back. Done. ALMOST!!!!! Then I had 4 loads of laundry to do. Bummer. At least when my son came this past weekend we got to visit and talk. That was the all-time!!! That and he complimented me on a "fine task for a 63 year old grandmother!! Thank you...........Shirley

Leaking water on the floor

The leak was being caused by a modest pivot hole on the drain hose on the rear of the washer. In order to rapidly repair the problem I purchased a drain hose from i of the large dwelling house centers in the expanse, but it was of a universal design and definitely not the best quality, it worked until I was able to receive the original equipment replacement from AppliancePartsPros. The bleed hose APP sent me was exactly like the original and of much better quality than my temporary fix, it installed very easily with only a 5/16" nut commuter (I could have used a screwdriver if I didn't take the nut driver set up) and a pair of pliers. Quality part that I received very quickly. Thank Yous.
