Just tested the adapter on a Thinkpad notebook and indeed, the code 10 persisted. This is a brand new production that was shipped soft bricked. I bought it on the 14th of Setember.

I need to be redirected to product replacement, bodily product replacement, not the fake link that always returns me an error message.

Wonderful to meet how Microsoft cares about this mistake - having the same problem here.

Mine worked from fourth dimension to time (sometimes without a problem for weeks, sometimes refused to work for days straigt) - only this fourth dimension it shows me the same data as information technology does for you, only with the driver named oem26.inf

So far - most of the fourth dimension it helped to modify the USB plug, but now information technology seems to refuse at all..

Did you detect a solution/return it?
Mine's probably out of warranty, and then hurts that information technology seems to be a software issue rather than a hardware ane.

No solution found yet for the faulty adapter. Withal, my local support really sent me a new i. But here's the deal. The new one however doesn't piece of work on my desktop, withal doesn't piece of work on the thinkpad I mentioned, But, it works on an former Dell notebook with an erstwhile version of Win x, that doesn't assist me at all since that notebook can't run many games but know I cannot claim that the replacement one is faulty, because this one has chosen a random car to first working.

It is very hard for me to keep troubleshooting this.

I am likewise having major problems with the Xbox wireless adapter for windows. Setup issues, connection & dropped connections and error 0x0. Event log is filled. I also have done every trouble shooting process available online. A complete coin toss if information technology will piece of work at all or set itself upwards. I've made sure that everything is updated. This has been going on for months!!!

The effect viewer created 3 unlike consequence logs considering I've tried so many times. I deleted the previous logs when I got the newest style adapter. It besides appears to have problems after cumulative updates (which is virtually weekly). These issues are happening to many users, and nosotros take washed our best to attempt on our ain to get this working. Please Amber, escalate this to the powers that exist for a real gear up. Nosotros the community of users with these problems are at your mercy. I but desire to play Halo on Steam..... Lamentable face

Im not sure if this is still an issue for you, withal when I came across this issue I right clicked on the adapter in device manager and uninstalled the device. Once that was washed I simply unplugged the device and plugged it back in letting windows install the device a second time. This seems to have worked since I have not had any other issues with the device.

Upgrading the BIOS solved the problem for me! I was already using the latest in the past, only at some indicate the dual-BIOS must have reverted to manufactory for some reason.

Configuration: desktop w/ sometime Gigabyte MB.
